Common Questions

Do I need to be an existing USARD member?
The $75 Educator membership includes a full USARD annual membership. If you're already a member, your membership will be upgraded to Educator status.
Can I teach independently and on the platform?
Absolutely. The program is non-exclusive. You retain all rights to your content, your student relationships, and your independent teaching activities.
What if I'm not approved as an educator?
If your application isn't accepted, your membership still stands as a full USARD annual membership. You're welcome to reapply in the future.
What content do I need to provide?
Start with a sample lesson — a short video, PDF sheet music, or MusicXML file. Your initial course can be modest (4–8 lessons). Quality matters more than quantity.
Is there a revenue-sharing requirement?
No. During the current growth phase there is no revenue sharing. Any future arrangements would be optional, transparent, and require a separate written agreement.
